We started Kanata Plumbers because we were tired of the way residential plumbing was being done in the Ottawa west end. Big national franchises with call centres on the other side of the country. Service fees that disappear the moment you decline the quote. Overnight overtime rates that punish you for the timing of an emergency.
We wanted to build the kind of plumber your father-in-law would recommend — the kind that answers the phone when you call at 11pm, that gives you a real ETA instead of a four-hour window, and that walks you through what they're seeing instead of just handing you an invoice.
Twelve years and 2,400+ Kanata homes later, that's still how we work.
What we do differently
Every truck is stocked overnight for the kind of work we expect to do that week — not the kind of work the corporate office prioritizes.
